-What are ombre powder brows/microshaded brows?
The Ombre Powder Brow technique (AKA microshading) is the absolute best way to achieve beautifully soft and symmetric eyebrows. It is the most natural technique available today. Using a tiny needle, pigment is deposited into the outermost layer of skin as to not go too deep, giving the look of a soft beautiful powder when healed. Perfect for almost any skin type, those with sparse brows, no brows, or even for those with perfect brows to begin with! These are the brows you want when you get out of the shower, as they will not overpower but enhance a makeup free face. Start saying goodbye to your brow pencil!

-How long do they last?
They will not wash off, however, they will fade over time and can last anywhere from 1-5 years depending. How long they will last depends on a number of lifestyle and other factors such as: tanning, swimming, intense exercise, using facial chemicals/peels, color of pigment used, iron deficiency, medications, underlying or undiagnosed health conditions, and skin type. Please note that each unique skin type will hold the pigment differently and break down at different rates. It is EXTREMELY important that you follow the aftercare instructions and use an SPF when they are healed to protect them.
-What are the benefits of cosmetic tattooing?
There are so many! Having your brows done will save you so much time and money. It's a great and long lasting solution for those with unsteady hands, poor eyesight, allergies, or any other difficulty that occurs with applying makeup. It is great for those with sparse, missing, or misshaped eyebrows.

-What should I do to prepare for my procedure?
Exfoliate your brows a couple days before the procedure to get rid of dead skin. Do not consume alcohol or take ANY blood thinners (advil, aspirin, turmeric, fish oil, vitamin E, etc) 72 hrs before your procedure. Make sure to drink plenty of water so you are hydrated. Also, please eat before your procedure!

-Why do I need a consultation?
Consultations (text or in person) are mostly needed to make sure you're a good candidate to have this procedure done, ease nerves, and answer any questions you may have. I am proud to offer a no pressure environment and am dedicated to finding the brow technique that is best for you. There's a lot of misinformation out there and I'm happy to explain any and all options if we decide Powder Brows are not for you. If you are pregnant, nursing, in poor health, prone to scarring, taking certain medications, have active acne, rosacea or other skin concerns, on blood thinners, use harsh skin products such as Retin-A or Latisse, you are not a good candidate to have this procedure done. If you're not sure if you'd be a candidate, send me a text to find out at 7605670760.

-Can I have this done every year?
I recommend to space out your touch ups for years in between and not have it done yearly. In most cases (depending on your skin and lifestyle) my Powder Brows will look good for years to come without having to get frequent touch-ups. Having it done too often can cause scarring in certain skin types which we want to avoid at all costs. The health of your skin is my number one priority which is why I do not reccommend Microblading which uses sharp needles to manually cut deep into the skin.

-Does cosmetic tattooing hurt?
A very high-quality topical anesthetic gel is used during your procedure. Pain threshold levels vary from person to person and every effort is made to ensure your comfort during the entirety of the procedure. The majority of my clients do not feel a thing!
